I started this journey at 286 lbs.
I lost the weight by eating less and moving more. I counted my calories diligently and worked out at the gym several times a week. I had my ups and downs along the way, nobody is perfect. But I was fighting for my life. I was fighting to shop in the fun stores. I was fighting for self-confidence. I was fighting for my future. I still have a lot of fight in me.
In October of 2010 I found out that I was pregnant. I was thrown of course for a while, but now I'm working to understand what eating and living for health is, instead of eating and living for weight loss. I still have a lot of weight to lose but now is not a healthy time to do that. I'm due in June and after the baby comes I'll be resuming my weight loss goals. In the meantime I'm going to fighting to live healthy for both me and my little one.
