In addition, I have a problem. A big one. So...I am still single and go on dates fairly regularly. How is it possible to eat good when you are at places like Outback Stakehouse? Does anyone have any coping strategies? What is your Turkey Day game plan? HELP ME OUT!

Hi! I'm a new follower!
I handle going out to eat a few different ways. One, I look at the menu before I go and pick out what I'm going to eat. Two, I let anyone I'm with know that I'm eating healthy. It helps me with accountability. And, three, I remember something my old weight watcher leader told me: Celebrate the person/event, not the food. You're not there to eat. You're there to get to know the person sitting across from you. You just so happen to also be providing your body with some (healthy) fuel.
The other strategy I would use is to just not go to dinner on dates. Why not do an activity instead of eating? That way you can burn calories, create memories, and stay away from those dang bloomin' onions! =)
Just the fact that you are going out (wish I was) is saying something.. I think that the non-food idea is a good one.. even if it's just a coffee bar or something like it..
There are all sorts of things to do, go to a park, go to an ice creamery, do some pottery, ect..
Hope you have lots of fun on your dates.. :)
this post is very usefull thx!
